Bishop Marty Alexander

Bishop Marty Alexander is the First Lady of the Shield of Faith Fellowship of Churches, International, Inc., an ecclesiastical organization of more than 1,000 churches worldwide. She is also the First Lady and co-founder of Shield of Faith Christian Center of Pomona and the wife of Bishop Henry B. Alexander. Dr. Marty has been a partner in ministry with her husband for 33 years. She is an ordained pastor and has done graduate study at Fuller Theological Seminary. She has two doctoral degrees and is a highly-anointed and sought after preacher, teacher and intercessor. She is an international evangelist and women’s conference speaker and the Lord confirms her ministry with signs following.

Married to her husband of 43 years, Marty is the mother of two children, daughter Stephanie Alexander (a singer, songwriter and gospel recording artist) and son Aaron who serves as the Chief of Operations of Shield of Faith Economic Development Corporation. She is the grand-mother of two wonderful grandchildren, Eric Alexander-Hughes and Erin Alexander.

Pastor Marty is professionally trained as a registered nurse, having graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from California State University at Los Angeles where she also did graduate studies. Pastor Marty has an extensive list of educational and ministerial accomplishments but above all she is truly a Woman of Faith and Excellence and encourages everyone she meets to strive for the same. Her motto is – “Before I go to heaven, it is my sole desire to do something really great for Jesus.”
